Role
The Runner carries messages that require actions and/or decisions between ISO personnel and the IMT personnel.
Means of Appointment
Appointed by the Incident Control Point Officer
Appointment Priority
The Runner will he the seventh position filled upon arrival
Reports to
The Runner reports to the Incident Control Point Officer
Duties
• Assist with the establishment/setup of the Incident Control Vehicle/Site
• Responsible for carrying messages, chasing up outcomes from such messages
• Maintain a log of activities
• Assist the Marshal as required during quiet periods of runner activity
• Enter TCard data into the ICS Computer program during quiet periods of runner activity
• Assist other positions as required
