Role
The Plotter is responsible for establishing and maintaining a map of the incident on the Operations Whiteboard/Computer, including significant features and vehicle disposition.
Means of Appointment
Appointed by the Incident Control Point Officer
Appointment Priority
The Plotter will be the fifth position filled upon arrival
Reports to
The Plotter reports to the Incident Control Point Officer
Duties
· Assist with the establishment/setup of the incident Control Vehicle/Site
· Establish/Maintain the Operations whiteboard/computer in conjunction with the Operations Officer
· Update the incident diagram to show significant features, location of appliances and sector details,
including sector boundaries, sector channels, and sector commander’s name
· Liaise with the Vehicle Registrar toensure that the Vehicle Register reflects the current operational situation
